Well, today I decided to start my project for a ghille suit. I have been looking for fabric to use and got some mesh bags from the paintball place at Shortstop. I then have access to burlap at work so I snagged a bag there too.
Now, the funny part. I had to get a base material for the suit so I thought an earthtone flannel or fleece material would work. I havent been able to locate anything but, today I was driving past Jo Ann fabrics in Soldotna. Well, as the name implies, it is a VERY girly store. I walk in and see about 100 women and me(guy of course). They range from 19 yr old hotties to 80 yr old grannies. I felt like a whore at a church knitting bee hahahhahaa. As I browsed I did notice two things: there are actually a lot of cute girls there. Also, I noticed two other guys there too. At least I wasnt alone. I found some flannel that I think will work good. I got about 8' of it. Hopefully, that will be enough for the body, covering, and hood too. I will keep you all updated on it. Sorry, prob. no assembly pics since I dont have a digital camera but, I might be able to change that. Well, anyways, hope you liked the story and srry for the long post.

I worked on the body today. I have most of the body/hood done. I have to finish that up and then start to cover it good. Will keep updates as I have time.

When boys learn to sow they make ghille suits instead of dresses
